Meriam Center is the commercial and civic heart of Meriam Park. It will contain small shops and restaurants, offices and a range of potential commercial activities. Some buildings will be multi-story with residential, office, or studio above the ground floor. Meriam Center will include a church, a day care center, and the potential for other civic uses like a ballpark, post office or library. Central to the vision for the place is the provision of artistic and cultural venues and activities to highlight and support Chico's vital cultural life.
